Before heading out we had spaghetti night which is always a tremendous mess. This time Quinn had so much sauce and noodles on her we were not going to be able to make it out of the kitchen without leaving a noodle trail, so bath time was relocated to the sink.

Or at least this is what Mair (and now Chloe) tells me what this is. It sure doesn't look like Dung nor Urine to me.

We were wandering in the children's farm when a white donkey was walked around for kids to pet, which Chloe absolutely loved.

There were 50 of them this morning.

 

Quinn's first birthday cake could not be more appropriate, nor celebrated in a more appropriate location ... clearly she wanted to visit Ocean City, why else would she have come out 6 weeks early?

In hindsight, I needed a bid, despite not eating (until Quinn was done, done covering me in icing).

Quinn just getting started (thank goodness the icing is not black, like Chloe's).

Her dress could not hold any more cake and icing ... time for a sink bath.

Who knew bathtime got so much better in a smaller space?

Chloe surprised me how comfortable she was going so far from shore.

Later Chloe did do some swimming on her own, sans any sort of assistance.

We never found much of anything out in the water other than seaweed and one sea jelly (that fortunately had no tentacles).

This is roughly what the area we stay in looks like (though this home is definitely a step above the rest).
